Flameproof Distribution Board
What is a Flameproof Distribution Board?
The Flameproof Distribution Boards/panels are used for the distribution of the power supply in a company. To handle high-rated power, it is necessary to use heavy equipment and components where the heavy power is switched on and off safely.
An ordinary distribution board may generate heat and sparks due to heavy usage. Thus, the flameproof/explosion-proof distribution box/panel is used in hazardous areas (flammable gases) to prevent this spark from triggering an explosion in the company.
At Bharat Flameproof, we have decade-old flameproof equipment manufacturing skills for Flameproof Distribution Boxes. These distribution boards are manufactured from high-quality premium cast aluminum alloy LM6.

We have 2 unique distribution boxes. They are 24-way and Flameproof MCB Distribution Board-500×500. Both are suitable for Flameproof Zones 1 and 2 and are IECEx compliant.

FAQs
A flameproof distribution board is an electrical control panel which is specifically designed to be used in high-risk environments. These are made from flameproof and explosion proof materials so that they are safe to use in places with explosive gasses and dust.
These flameproof distribution boards are designed to stop the spread of fire and limit any damage that could occur from electrical faults. Which makes them a must-have in hazardous high risk environments to prevent any explosions, especially ones which can be caused by flammable gasses and dust.
Flameproof distribution board is designed to adhere to specific safety regulations. It is made using special flameproof and explosion proof materials which inherently help to prevent spread of fires. However, the standard distribution boards may not always be designed as per these specific safety regulations, which makes them more prone to fire and damage.
