Flameproof panels
What are Flameproof panels?
Flameproof panels are known to secure your operations in high-risk environments exceptionally. We take pride in making the best explosion-proof control panels that stand as a shield against electrical & fire hazards. Our wide range of flameproof control panels will offer maximum protection under any circumstances, ensuring complete peace of mind.
Flame proof control panels are used in environments with flammable gases, vapors, or dust. These enclosures protect electrical equipment from overheating and potential explosions. Flameproof panels are very important as they help in the prevention of damage to lives and property during unexpected fires and explosions.
Bharat Flameproof specializes in the designing and development of custom explosion-proof plc panels as per the client’s requirements. We have an experience of more than a decade in the flameproof industry. We have serviced clients from a variety of industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food and beverage.
We have more than a dozen flameproof panel options available. Our products are suitable for Flameproof zones 1 and 2 and are built of cast aluminum alloy LM6. We use neoprene gaskets for flameproof panel manufacturing and all our panels are weatherproof IP66 rated.

FAQs
Flameproof Panels, which are also commonly known as Flameproof Boards, are especially designed to withstand extremely high temperatures and also prevent the spread of fires. These panels are installed within factories to protect the equipment from different flammable gasses and vapors present. Being made from self-extinguishing, fire-resistant materials makes them ideal for use within hazardous environments.
Flameproof panels are designed to meet specific safety standards whereas regular electrical panels may not always meet those specific standards. Flameproof panels are made of heat and fire resistant materials, which are designed to prevent the spread of fire and limit any damage that can be caused by electrical faults. Since not all regular electrical panels are made with similar specifications, they are more prone to fire and damage.
Yes. Flameproof panels are especially designed keeping hazardous environments in mind. All the elements designed and materials used are chosen to reduce the risk of fire and/or damage from electrical faults. That is why they are ideal for use in high-risk environments such as petrochemical factories, oil & gas platforms and mines, to name a few.
Typically, a cast of aluminum alloy LM6 is used to make flameproof panels. This material is fire-resistant and also self extinguishing in nature. Sometimes, materials like stainless steel or glass-reinforced polyester are also used. These materials are known to help prevent the spread of fires and minimize any damage that can be caused by electrical faults.
Some of the international standards for electrical equipment in hazardous areas are ATEX, IECEx and UL. And all our flameproof panels are certified to these safety standards, making them safe for use in hazardous environments. These safety standards define the exact specifications that the panels need to meet, in order minimize any/all fire related damage in hazardous environments.
A lot of factors are taken into consideration when it comes to identifying the cost of a flameproof panel. Some of these factors are : size and complexity of the panel, materials used for construction.
Generally speaking, flameproof panels are slightly more expensive than regular electrical panels, as these panels have specific designs and are made using fire-resistant materials. However, given that they provide an extra layer of protection and safety in hazardous environments, these flameproof panels are considered as a good investment.
